Paula has always been drawn to the world of geometric design and spatial composition. She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from PUC University in Rio de Janeiro and a postgraduate degree in Interior Design from Elisava, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.

She has worked for a number of prestigious firms in Brazil and acquired considerable experience in different areas of interior design and decor styles.

In 2013 she founded Esmera Design, a company dedicated to creating extremely comfortable and functional spaces with a high aesthetic value.

At Esmera all projects are carefully thought out and designed with the highest level of dedication and commitment – the esmero factor, term which names and guides the company’s philosophy. This concept brings designer and client close together for the perfect combination of style and space management.

While currently working on several residential and commercial projects in Brazil, Paula decides to take on a new challenge and opens the first Esmera Design office in Miami.

The Esmero factor now sets foot in Florida bringing the highest level of dedication and commitment to interior design projects.

We offer a whole range of services from residential and commercial to corporate and nautical projects designed with the Brazilian clients in mind who wish to adapt to the local culture but also keep a feeling of one’s own home environment.
